Did you know that there is a zoo on Texel? You will see meerkats, many species of (predatory) birds and white-eared bran monkeys. The butterfly garden - where the butterflies fly around your ears - is also great! A visit (including raptor show) costs only € 9, - and you are having a nice day. My highlight: the loris. If you hold a container of lorikeet (nectar) in your hand, the loris will sit on your arm to drink it. TexelZOO is so much fun!
