Where to find our family villas

When you filter 8 people on a Texel holiday home, you will be presented with spacious villas in and around De Koog. De Koog is a versatile village, on the border of the De Duinen van Texel National Park. There is a cozy holiday atmosphere, as you will find in popular tourist coastal towns. The village is only a row of dunes separated from the North Sea beach. You walk there in a few minutes on a leafy forest road. If you are looking for it more rural and more centrally located on the island, take a look at the country houses at De Parel park and on the Nieuwlanderweg.

Spatial comfort

With a larger group, it is important that everyone in the holiday home can find the comfort of personal space. Things like, spacious livings with audio and image equipment, multiple washrooms and separate beds in the bedrooms are therefore very important. In all the larger accommodations that you will find in our offer, such facilities are available as standard. Naturally, every Texel 8 person house that you book through us is also equipped with a spacious kitchen, with all the trimmings. You will also find 8 person holiday homes with fully enclosed gardens, bicycle storage, playground equipment and / or several terraces.

Parking and public transport

If you come to Texel with 8 people on holiday, chances are that you are with several vehicles. If you want to park it during a day at the beach or a trip to a restaurant in the nearby village, you have to pay parking fees. Buying a day ticket every time is going to be in the papers. You are then cheaper with a Texel e-vignette. It is even easier to use the Texelhopper. A local transport service that takes you wherever you want with your regular Ov card, on call. In addition, there is a Connexxion scheduled service between the boat and De Koog.

Nature on Texel

Texel is known for its sun, sea and wind. It is therefore wonderful to get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the silence on the North Sea beach, on sandbanks the Hors or in the Tidal area the Slufter. Especially when you come to Texel with 8 people, it may be nice to take a look at a silence or nature day. Or maybe you will come with a group of birdwatchers to spot rare birds. Walking and cycling

If you plan a Texel holiday with several couples or two families, of four people, you are more advantageous if you immediately book an 8 person cottage Texel. You do not have to visit each other or wait for joint walking and / or cycling trips. So easy, out together, at home together. On Texel there are about 140 km of cycle paths and an equal amount of hiking trails in the breeding season. Outside the breeding season you have no less than 200 km at your disposal. Across the island you will find a wide choice of clearly marked long and short walking and cycling routes. Roadmaps can be obtained from the tourist office and Ecomare.

Sightseeing

When you are on holiday with 8 people on Texel, it is nice to go out with the whole group. The most famous sights are Ecomare and lighthouse Eierland. Also worth a visit are the butterfly garden and raptor show that you can admire in the Texel ZOO. For those interested in aviation and war, there is a beautiful museum next to Texel airport. If you are more interested in maritime events, we can warmly recommend the beachcombing museum Flora or Cape Skil. Dinner in a wine cellar or a beer tasting, is a nice end to an educational day.
