Dear owners and guests of Texelvakanties and LandhuizenTexel.

I have been here for almost 2 years now.

During this same period, my partner Eric, who now works in the Technical Services and Green areas of Texelvakanties and LandhuizenTexel, moved to Texel and we immediately wanted to work somewhere.

We saw an advertisement in the Texel newspaper and while cycling around the island we spontaneously stepped in and got talking to Carmen and Rob.

I could immediately start working in control at Juliana, now I have several roles, besides controlling the different changeover days I am also responsible for purchasing. I manage the warehouses at Juliana and at Natuurvillapark Waalerburght. It doesn't really matter where you put me, in both the beautiful sea view apartments of Juliana and in the “outskirts” with all the bungalows and villas I am at my place. I really enjoy keeping the quality of the holiday homes high, not only in terms of styling but also in terms of maintenance I try to keep an eye on everything.

We have been coming to the beautiful island for years. The hospitality and friendliness of Texel is what brought us here permanently. We bought a house on the Muyweg which we are now renovating to make it our palace in this beautiful place.

Actually I have never been active in the recreation industry, I have always worked in equestrian sports, as a manager of a sports stable which means training and caring for the horses and also bringing them to competitions both jumping and dressage and coaching the riders.

I am now hobbyistically active here on Texel, teaching at the equestrian association and coaching the youth.

I am also often to be found on the Texel golf course where it is wonderful to play your hobby with Eric or friends through the beautiful nature.

Furthermore, I try to work on my fitness at Lust for sport.
